As I mentioned once before I plan to add some more stuff here for being able to offer a larger variety of designs as reference until my portfolio is finished. I did another free project from the website called briefbox.me.
The next one I chose deals with designing a recipe card for Make a Mark.
For that purpose, I focused on illustrating the ingredients for that recipe card first which I am going to upload here one by one. After that the complete card follows. The forth ingredient I tried was Feta cheese.
Again, the orginal files are vector ones, so that it's qualified for web and print usage. For uploading it here I used a png-file.Here an extract of the task:
" [...] As a way of helping to introduce young people, as well as parents cooking for their children, to affordable and healthy food items, we’d like you to create a recipe card using food icons that can be distributed in either print or an online format. As people may not know what some ingredients are, it should have clear icons which represent each ingredient with some easy to follow cooking instructions. The recipes should contain no more than 5 easily accessible healthy ingredients – keep it simple! [...] "
